Beware of customer service

Front right burner was working inconsistently and had a hard time getting LG support to believe me when I said something was wrong. Now that burner doesnt work at all. Has taken a few months to get a tech to come out which they havent yet but it is at least scheduled. Stove is now 9 months old. Not happy at all with LGs customer service. Last year I bought new LG stove dishwasher and fridge. This year I will be buying washer and dryer and am thinking about not going with LG this time.

Extreme fire hazard do not buy

Ive had this oven for a few years and have had a few close calls with the knobs being accidentally bumped but the closest was last night the stove came on either from my dogs or me bumping into the knobs when I was vacuuming Im not even sure I just came into the kitchen and it was full of smoke but luckily I caught it before it flashed over and burnt the house down. There are many reviews reporting the same problem with the knobs turning on too easily from just a light bump or from little kids or dogs. There is also a class action suit and LG should do something to fix this immediately before people die. I wouldnt be surprised at all if many people have already died or lost their homes due to this terrible design.

Bought this oven 5 years ago along with LG dishwasher which I already had to replace last year. LG racks rusted fell apart quickly and then stopped working LG MiroWave which Im now having to replace it wont start LG refrigerator door shelves crack had to replace twice. Regarding LG electic oven from beginning the temp probe did not work. They sent repair person who just said he would order new one which also didnt work. Seal door not good we had to put electrical tape to get it to not keep saying door open and oven shutting off. Now having trouble with middle rack wont pull out to easily put something in oven take out. If it does pull out if oven is hot it gets stuck wont slide back in had to completely remove and use flat bottom rack in middle. Not sure how I can get rack replacement

Dont bother with premium care plan

Product itself is great dont bother with the premium care plan they dont honor it They will look for ways to NOT pay to fix or replace it. Horrible customer service. Oh also when making things like pizza put it in for LESS than minimum time unless you prefer it a bit more done/crispy. Customer service really does like pushing you off to the next person/doesnt want to help.

Not the double oven you want

We bought this oven hoping for a quality cooking experience. Within a year both oven started cooking unevenly. Despite using just the bake setting only on the bottom oven it constantly switches to convection mode. The temperatures dont seem to match well with the actual input. Will be replacing. I would avoid this brand.

I bought in 2016. The knobs numbers wore off the first year and have been worn off again for 3 years. The front burners only cook on high. Waiting for switch parts for over 2 weeks now.

This is a review on the shopping experience at LG. When you go to buy something here it will say that its committed to be delivered on a set date. In my case that was 2 days later. Well its been two days and they havent even released it to be shipped. When I spoke with customer service or lack there of they said well that was a committed date not a guaranteed date. and that we are still checking to make sure the unit isnt damaged before it is shipped. I then asked for the supervisor and they said there are no supervisors or managers. In short if you are buying something on this site be prepared to wait.

First its a beautiful stove. But its real value is in its baking especially those like bread pies cakes etc. anything flower becomes a delicious meal. After trying to bake such delicious things on our old oven for nearly 5 yrs we got this new range just after thanksgiving 2023 we have now cooked best meals ever over the last year . The 2024 thanksgiving was a magical experience. Turkey veggies pies rolls both ovens were use the make delicious food. The stove top is equal to any including gas. We can fry on high and simmer on low. While warming other dishes . AFTER ONE YEAR we are happier with the range now more than ever.

Bought this for my wifes early Christmas present as we had 9 people for Thanksgiving Dinner and she absolutely loves it The double oven with the Convection feature allowed her to cook 6 dishes at the same time at two different temperatures and the food was fantastic Only downside is the inability to utilize the ThinQ feature.

Bad control panel

I purchased this oven in hopes it would last but that is not the case. I was using the double ovens to bake and a F3 code pop up and now my control panel does not work. It seems to have got to hot and ruin the control panel. Also the glass top is not good quality as it crack when I have the stove top on high boil a pot of water. I would not recommend this product and have not been happy with the purchase.

I love that there is a separate timer for the upper and lower ovens. I also love there is a bake setting and a ProBake setting on the lower oven. OK range--double oven doesnt work as it should

Ive had my LG double oven glass top stove for 6 years. The glass top stove is great. It works well and is easy to clean. The oven is not great. First the element in the oven is such that things on the edges of the oven dont brown. The element is in the middle so I have to rotate my cakes and things so that they will brown evenly and not just in the middle. Ive adjusted and if I am cooking something in a 9x13 pan I turn the pan vertically in the oven so that the entire thing will cook evenly its a pain though when I am making cookies or something in a larger pan that I cant fit that way in the oven. The second issue is that when I have both ovens turned on at the same time the top oven doesnt work well and the food doesnt cook. This started about 2 years ago. I found out while trying to cook Thanksgiving dinner and the pies in the top oven wouldnt bake they just warmed. So its not like having two ovens. I can use both at the same time if I only want to use the top oven to warm something but it doesnt heat enough to bake at the required temperature. Super frustrating when I purchased this range specifically so I could have two ovens. BTW the photo isnt mine. Internet stock. I couldnt complete and submit my review without a photo and I havent taken any of the food that hasnt worked out in my oven.

Lasted 3 months and technicians are no shows

I gave it one star for every month it stayed problem free. Three of the burners quit working. It lasted 3 months and the technician who cant to fix it wasnt the best so the loose connection he fixed came back after a week. Ive had 2 no shows to fix it and my wife and I are going to throw it away. I like LG products but there is a serious issue with the burners the rapid boil is one of them that is out.

I love the ovens on this range. Even temperatures and easy to use. Its the stovetop that is the problem or more properly the knobs. After the third fire Im done. The knobs are extremely easy to bump. In fact the only reason weve been able to keep this going this long is because we legitimately built 1/4 inch thick stove safeties that we slot between each knob and the face otherwise just lightly brushing against a knob will activate it. Because it only beeps when the first burner is activated your sweater can turn on another burner when you think only one is on. I had a sheet pan on the one I thought wasnt on and I can tell you the blisters from the burn were impressive and very painful. The burnt black Formica countertop is less than ideal. This last time was just a nearby towel that caught on fire but honestly Ive reached my limit. Im sitting here with my eyes still smarting from the smoke. Very dangerous product. The front burners will turn themselves up to high temperature regardless of what you set them at. I saw that this was a problem with previous models and I figured that it HAD to have been addressed. Nope. If it wasnt for this Id like it but thats a pretty big snag

Dont waste your money

This is sadly the worse review I have ever given. I was so excited to get this stove since at the time it was so different but it was such a disappointment. It took me over an hour just to get the countertop clean because anything seeped into the grooves. The darn thing is a disaster I have to cover it because it looks horrible and one of the heating elements doesnt work.

Great kitchen range

I have had this range about a month now and I couldnt be happier with it. I replaced all of my kitchen appliances with LG products because they were highly rated on Consumer Reports. This is my first glass cooktop and it took some getting used to. I replaced all my cookware with ceramic to avoid any scratching. The burners heat up very quickly and cook evenly. Havent tried using both ovens at the same time yet but Im sure they will get a workout at Thanksgiving. I especially love the easy way to clean the ovens after every couple of uses. The quick clean cycle is indeed very quick and does a good job. I know some people have complained about the knobs being on the front but it hasnt been a problem for me. There are no children or large pets in my household. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and am looking forward to the holidays at my house this year

I bought this stove and shipped it to a country in Central America but the electric voltage doesnt work as it is not a 50/60 hz. its only 60hz. Therefore I am unable to use this efficiently. Upon purchase I think it is very important to label products which are not export worthy so the consumer is better informed. Due to this I have had to have a technician adjust some features but the main mother board chips out and the stove does not work. I think it advancing models making everything so digital using the main motherboard limits the usage of just being able to disable that part and manually just use the stove with the regular knobs. So therefore I am unable to give a decent review on this product because if the description upon purchasing by the company stated that this is not a good purchase for export I perhaps would have never purchased this one and chosen a model better suited for export to another country.

We bought this and my advice DO NOT BUY THIS STOVE KNOBS LOSE THE WRITING SO YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT DEGREE YOU ARE COOKING ON. THE KNOBS ONLY LAST LIKE 6 MONTHS. Although the first part that arrived was not correct even after the LG Service person determined the correct part number the second one that came arrived VERY quickly. I put it in and my wife now has her glass top range back up and cookin Now to get the incorrect part sent back for a full refund. Well see how that goes in the coming weeks

Flawed cooktop

I am on my 3rd cooktop in 6 weeks. Six. Weeks. After just a couple of hours of use it started to look like the 15 year old range I replaced. Local authorized repair company performed both replacements. Tech are mystified and LG is emphatic that this is not an issue. However a simple read of the posted reviews for this unit and its sibling with a single oven this is a lie. The cooktop is poorly designed and LG wants to deflect blame onto the consumer without any validation on their end. This was confirmed by the techs I spoke with. Appliance retailer is fighting with LG to get the return processed. Luckily the retailer is standing behind the product and will be allowing me to exchange for another range. The next one will NOT be LG. I dont know what happened but LG today is a shell of what they were 10 years ago when we bought our washer/dryer.

The stove top dials turn on too easily barely bumped into one and the burner came almost burned my hand. The gap between the glass top and the flimsy stainless steel panel with knobs catches debris and not easy to clean. Other than that we like the to stove.

Defective and unusable

Our brand new range is unusable due to a defective valve which is leaking gas. This is a major safety issue and LG is useless in resolving this matter. Due to the leak we had to turn off the gas and the stove is unusable. It has been 9 days and LG has not provided any way for this to be fixed or replaced. Their warranty process is not designed to help the customer.

It does not get to the selected temperature without shutting off. It allows you to select 550 degrees. However once its at 550 it gets hot then shuts off. Technical support says it gets too hot. An oven that gets hot. Seriously.

Promising perfect stove frustrating experience

The good-the oven is easy to clean. The interface is user friendly. I live the convection and the pizza setting. The not so good-the range arrived damaged. The entire stove was covered in dents and the front burner would not turn on unless other burners were also turned on. LG could not get the parts. We ended up with a refund and a bricked stove. Now after waiting months for resolution Im back on the hunt for the perfect budget stove.

I really like the range especially the double oven. Dont mind not have the drawer space on the bottom - was always a mess anyway. Used the small oven for most of the baking etc. and it does a nice job. One of the things I noticed about the burners is how evenly they heat. The whole burner heats up and not just the middle so things cook more evenly. There is also an extra large double burner - 12 inches so my biggest pans fit on it nicely.

Caught fire

DO NOT PURCHASEWithin a year of having the wire going to lower oven caught fire and had to be fixed. Year 3 the main wire bundles caught fire and shot fire out the top of the stove. Had I been standing there cooking at that time I would have gotten really bad hurt. Thank goodness I had just stepped aside to prepare my food. I called LG since it wasnt in warranty they said they could send a repair guy out to look at it to see if it could be fixed.... which honestly I didnt want repair since this was the second occurrence. Myself or my house may have not been as lucky a third time. LG then offered me a 10 discount off a new stove. Which lets be honest this day and time is nothing. So dont even offer.

Caution: writing on knobs wear off

I really like the oven and stove top. The bottom oven is hotter than the top but we know that now and cook accordingly. My biggest complaint is that the digits on the Knobs were off. I am the only one that can cook because I know the temps of the knobs without looking. I went to find replacement knobs and thought I was buying a full set of knobs because it was $80. Then when I received my shipment it was only 1 knob For $80 And Ive seen other reviews saying the replacements were off too I had to pay $10 shipping and am assuming I will have to pay $10 again to return it so I guess Im just out $20 and Ill be the only one that can cook in my house if I had to purchase again I would not buy this unit again simply because of my issues with the knobs. Seriously consider this before buying
