While filling the machine stops and flashes "Er 66". Manual doesn't tell you what error code 66 means. To get it to run, you have to pull the plug and reset it. Then maybe the next time it will fill all the way. Sometimes it takes 4 un-plugs to get it to fill. At first this only happened occasionally, so we put up with it. Finally it got to be too much. Called warranty service. They came out and looked at it, and had to wait until it produced the same error, even though it was still an intermittent problem - apparently my word wasn't good enough. Oh, did I mention the lid lock broke as well?

I've went through a Samsung and a whirlpool in the last 5 years, hoping this one lasts much longer. It is by far the quietest machine I've owned, no walking or moving, and clothes are clean. I highly recommend, yes it's more expensive but if it lasts as long as the reviews I read said it will be well worth it.

After losing my shirt financially on two washers and dryers from Maytag, I had enough and wanted a more reliable and less digital old school washer that has a great warranty and I believe I found that in Speed Queen. I am cautiously optimistic, but so far I'm happy. All you gotta do is build the best units for the best prices and they will all come to your company and build units that last like the old days and no chinese parts.

Really like the Speed Queen TR7003WN washer. We have had to replace too many top-rated washers too soon. So, we did a lot of research and, so far, are happy with the Speed Queen Washer. It was purchased about 2 months ago. It is an appliance built to last. It washes and rinses throughly, using only detergent. Follow the instructions and the clothes will come out clean and smell fresh. The washer is balanced and does not budge - no more moving across the floor. The selection panel is easy to use and has a nice set of choices. The Special cycles, ability to set Favorite cycles, and Auto-Fill are great features. We think we bought the right washer this time.

A washer that lives up to it's promises! Smarter than the competition, this washer has an "auto-fill" setting that actually adds enough water to complete the cycle without damage to the clothes. Clothes are truly clean and they rinse thoroughly clean too-no more soap residue-no more back-wash. I don't use fabric softener anymore-don't need to with this washer. The controls are easy to use, easy to understand, logical! Quiet running unit, no more "off balance" problems. Cycles complete very quickly. Having an agitator I thought would create a problem for washing coats, but coats wash up very nicely in this machine; just place two in at a time for balance and don't overload the machine. I placed one large coat and one smaller jacket in a load and it worked perfectly. The simple design of the agitator is so gentle on clothes and still very efficient. Makes doing laundry fun.

We found that in this Speed Queen. More expensive than the other - maybe. I do believe SQ makes the best top load washers. We've had our a little over a month and I will say we've probably washed 30 loads in it and it's performed flawlessly. The soak mode is an absolute game changer and actual use of water makes clothes feel fresh and clean. It's a noticeable difference compared to our front load high-eff Maytag the SQ replaced. I couple things I would like to see changed that are an annoying nuance for me. I would really like the ability to have the tub fill with water when the lid is up. I understand not having the lip up while items are washing, but filling the lid should be able to stay up. There must be a reason for this. Having to pause the fill to add more clothes or detergent is a bit annoying. I think the TC5 allows for this operation, so not sure why it was carried over to the TR models. This is not a deal breaker by any means. It doesn't discount the fact its still an amazing washer. I can't speak towards SQ dryers.

The showroom display had a hunk of 1" diameter steel that screamed quality about the engineering of the washer. We're happy with the job it's doing for us. It cleans better than the Maytag we replaced. Only regret is that customer service was very slow to respond to my inquiry about the drainage hose and my follow-up question about it was never answered.

Absolutely love my new Speed Queen! It's easy to use, quiet but most importantly does a fantastic job cleaning our clothes. I was concerned because it wasn't as large a capacity as my previous washer but because of the way it's designed and built that has not been an issue. It works so well that clothes dry faster as well. It's worth the investment we made and I can't imagine ever purchasing anything but a Speed Queen in the future.

We have been using this washer and dryer for less than a year and have already had to have a tech come out. It took weeks to get them out and we still had to pay $130. Apparently, the washer can't handle washing a 20" x 20" pillow and it ripped it and caused a tiny piece of fluff to block the drain. It was in there with a couple hand towels. Sadly, shortly after that the lock no longer locks so we have to put something heavy on it so it will lock and wash. Dreading having to pay another fee for a tech to come out again. Really disappointed in this product and it customer service.

I had my washer for 6 months when the drain pump went out. The door sensor didn't work because I set something on the lid. Apparently, they are flimsy and you can't set anything down on them. Then the float wasn't working right. All of this happened at once. It took the service man several attempts to get everything working again. So glad I had a warranty

Went through a local dealer. Dryer had a crooked door and first load made the stainless steel drum look like a coating came off. Hard to describe but dealer was willing to change it but said it'll happen again. Since I like my new things new and not taken apart only to end up in the same place, I opted to see if it gets worse. Then we will revisit it. The door was changed and was worse. It also had a small dent. Now many people would say, "Who cares. It's a dryer." but we have it in a main floor bathroom and besides we bought Speed queen for the quality in hopes it lasts years longer than other brands. The dealer ordered a frame and another door but again, I don't like brand new things torn apart so I suggested just trying the new door before taking the front apart. It ended up looking great with no need to change the frame. That was cosmetic. The dryer worked great from day one. No problems with the washer. I was worried about the "power of water" being good enough but it is "good enough". I wanted the traditional agitator version but my wife didn't. Hasn't blown my socks off but no complaints either. It's nice and seems well built. Overall, I'd recommend them. Only way to know if it was worth the extra money is how they hold up. My wife says she loves them.

Over the past years (approximately 25 - 30), we have purchased several washing machines. We were only mildly satisfied with each of them. When our last Whirlpool Cabrio quit working, friend suggested a Speed Queen. I investigated the SQ Washing Machines and was surprised at the price; however, after reading reviews and talking with other owners, we purchased a TR7003WN Model. After several weeks, my wife could not be happier with any other washing machine. The price was well worth it considering the quality and features (made in the USA with commercial parts). The company, the product, all a scam! I am out $1400. On a machine that doesn't clean anything on any cycle( I've tried them all, different temps and soaps)! Pre treated stains don't wash out and others stains appear on clothes that were never there before. Don't rinse properly either. I reached out to the company and they aren't reliable, they blame all the poor quality on government requirements for a eco cycle. Don't be fooled by this company claim for top of the line or made in the USA. They are out to take your money and that's all they care about! Definitely not to make the customer happy. I would love if they would actually take responsibility for a machine that doesn't work and make it right with the customers! I don't want to have this stress of doing laundry like this for the next 25 years! I think this company should have claim filed against them. Stay far away!
