An exceptionally made refrigerator

I trashed an eight-year-old Samsung French Door Model and bought this 23 cu ft GE Side x Side. The Samsung continuously broke down, including constant freeze over. The ice make was worthless and the bottom freezer a bottomless pit. The new GE 23 cu ft has adjustable shelves, the ice maker is located in the freezer where it belongs. It is exceptional quiet, has more storage space and food items are easily accessible. This is a fine quality refrigerator well worth the price. I would recommend purchasing the extended warranty, any electrical mechanical appliance may have an issue sooner or later. I would purchase this again.

Water and ice dispenser is great features on this tiny fridge, it's constantly working even when fridge door opens. Water filter accessible inside the frige and pretty spacious. The only problem is the loud and noisy compressor which is strange comparing to my previous asian brand that dies on me in 3 years so I dont mind the noise as long as it keeps freezing stuff on hot summer days.

The very first plus was the location of the water filter Inside at the top back. Larger drawers for meat & veggies. The spacing in-between the shelves is great and deeper. Ice maker was operating in 4 hours. Highly recommended for baby boomers because other water filters were located on the bottom.

So far we like our fridge with the exception of the loud noise it makes occasionally. The noise has reduced a bit since we first plugged in the fridge. Its a good size for a small family of 3-4. bought appliance , followed instructions on installation completion checklist ...step 7-Leveling no such thing on my unit . GSS23GYPFS-SXS it has wheels . i looked in Pub no.49-1000468 no instructions on adjusting level for this model . Went back to homedepot SALES person could not find any instructions , we turned over the floor sample model to figure out how to adjust , figured it out on the floor model. also after 8 hours actual temp shows 78/82 actual and 0/37 set. How long is the wait after resetting on/off switch and pressed handle 3 x ,letting it sit 10 hours .

This 33" refrigerator/freezer is roomy, bright, and has cool features, such as an outside water dispenser, plenty of storage, and different glass panel heights. It includes a water filter as well. The installation instructions were easy to read and follow.

Overall well satisfied, except for set up. Great difficulty in placing the food holders in the door; no instructions - took over 30 minutes to get the first one in properly. The delivery men ought to have set up the appliance - they told me that they were not even allowed to plug it in!!!! I paid extra for set up the water system, they refused to do so.
