I have had Frigidaire refrigerators for several years. When my husband and I bought our home we first bought one. The life of that refrigerator was short lived because hurricane sandy flooded it. Not the fault of Frigidaire. We went to Lowe™€™s and bought the same model. That one lasted 13 years. It was still running. I only replaced it because the gaskets wore out. I love my new refrigerator. Very happy!!!

We ordered this fridge to match the rest of our Gallery appliances. I was so excited to get my first French drawer refrigerator. Well Tuesday morning, it felt very warm inside. Cannot get the temp down, had to throw out food. I bought an appliance thermometer today, and sure enough 54 degrees. All food ruined. I called and made an appointment (Tues) and under warranty, the soonest availability was Friday. The freezer seems fine, a bit of frost inside. It keeps flashing HI on the refrigerator temperature read out. The fridge is a week old!! Disappointed, upset and extremely stressed out. I was a replacing a Samsung, and for that one to be superior so far is a shock and disappointment.

We've had the refrigerator for 2 weeks; it was a replacement for a 15-year-old Frigidaire side-by-side refrigerator that was starting to have issues. There is a lot of space in the fridge, I did remove one of the shelves as it didn't work for me. The extra shelf just seemed to make the height between shelves unusable and I could not figure out how to move the shelves around to make it work. The result was a lot of extra room to put bowls, etc. I have a lot more room than the old side-by-side. I have not noticed any issues with the fridge, it's much quieter than the old fridge, the water / ice dispenser works well and it's large enough for tall water bottles. Very happy so far.

Still getting used to it. Miss a lot from my old fridge .m Maybe do the to the ice in the door. Didn't have that in my old one. Plus, the butter or egg compartment and the bottom drawer on the right will slide out without having both doors open, as this one has the flap on the left door for seal. Like the lights inside really lights up the place. Will had more once I get it organize the way I like it. Even the freezer compartment is big. but the bar a gross the front makes it hard at times getting items in and out. My old one the door tilts out a bit. Thanks

I have truly enjoyed our new refrigerator so far, the space is incredible. It took me about a week to get the shelves adjusted to optimize the space we needed, but no complaints since then for the fridge part. We did have an incident with the freezer frosting up in the first 2 weeks we had it. I™€™m not sure if someone failed to get the door pushed all the way in (I didn™€™t notice it not being completely closed), but it hasn™€™t happened again after I got all the frost out. We currently only use the top ice maker, but it is nice to know the second one will be available if needed over the holidays. Overall, I am very pleased!

Is quiet, does not take up a lot of space but huge on the inside. Don™€™t know why I ever had a chest freezer where things got lost in the depth and I always felt that I would fall in looking for something.Really like the shelves in the door for smaller items like butter or juice cans. Used the baskets from my old freezer, they fit perfectly, so no junk in the landfill. It is lighter than I expected. I can move it by myself to clean under it due to the rollers and I am only 5™€™2 110 lbs. This freezer is much larger than my previous one but my power bill went down a bit so it is more efficient which I like. It will also hold a as huge turkey which my previous one could not so I can buy one when it is on sale instead of just one day before cooking when prices are high thus saving me more money, wish I had bought it sooner. Highly recommend it. Downside? It has that annoying little blue light on the door, wish that was a lesser annoying color or situated someplace else. My home is full of these blue lights and I try to cover them up wherever I can. They must serve a purpose or they would not be on everything lesser than 10 years old.

I purchased a new Frigidaire GRFS2853AF on 07/17/25 and on 10/20/25 woke up to a completely dead refrigerator, no lights, no sound. Contacted Frigidaire by customer service chat and they stated a 3rd party technician would be sent on 10/23/25. I urged them to please send someone sooner as my family of 6 relies on this refrigerator. We have medications that need to be refrigerated and are having to use coolers to keep medicine and essentials cold. Frigidaire told me to contact the repair company directly. I did so and was able to get them out next day. The 3rd party repair tech reported had to" replace main control board" and it would take 5 or more business days. I contacted Frigidaire to expedite repair or to replace whole unit since clearly it's a lemon. They insisted protocol is to attempt repair before a replacement can be done. I requested an expedited service and they said it all depends on part availability. On 10/23/25 Frigidaire sent their own Frigidaire certified technician whom reported 3 issues "main, UI, and inverter". This now put us at a scheduled repair for 11/05/25. This would be 16 days without a refrigerator! Yet even with both these reports Frigidaire still declined to replace the faulty unit with a new one. I also requested a reimbursement for food spoilage and they offered me only a $50 gift card. I am so disappointed and angry at the lack of accountability for its faulty products and the inconvenience it causes the families that rely on their products. I have communicated with Frigidaire through chats, emails, phone calls requesting what I feel is a justified request for a replacement of my refrigerator after just 3 months of purchase. I also reached out to Howard's Appliance store where I purchased the refrigerator and no one can seem to do anything to replace the faulty unit ASAP. I feel unheard and each day more frustrated with Frigidaire's lack of understanding and for no sense of urgency to find an immediate solution. Frigidaire's website states "For over 100 years, we™€™ve been helping families do more with less™€"less time, less hassle, and less waste" however the only experience I've had with them is more wasted time, wasted food, and wasted money.

Review of 28™€ Cu. Ft. French Door refrigerator.

Overall it is very pretty and it goes nice in my kitchen. A couple things that annoy me is that it is not very silent and I can hear it at night. Also, if someone uses the crushed ice, the next person up that gets ice cubes or crushed ice, crushed ice goes everywhere on my wooden floor and leaves spots. Oh, and being only 5™€™2™€ it is difficult for me to reach the top shelves play in the back, even after I have lowered them. So that means in order to clean the shelves I will have to take everything out of the refrigerator and remove the shelves and wash them and put them back whereas in my old refrigerator I could simply move things around on the shelf wash it dry it and move things back. It will be a very big pain and I will still have to have a ladder to do it.
