When our pricey old dryer conked out, I was fed up with poorly made expensive appliances. I did my research, and bought the Amana. It is simple to use, works well, and is engineered well. The large lighted door is much more user friendly than our old dryer. Much better lint filter too.

I like the convenience of the left-opening door. It's out of the way, making it much easier to get the clothes out. The only drawback I've found so far is that it's difficult to get the lint screen completely cleared. The best way I've found is to use the used dryer sheet to gather the lint.

I never hear the end of cycle buzzer unless the tv is off. I keep my basement door open all the time, my house is small, never had this problem with any other dryer.

I bought my Amana dryer about a month ago and so happy that I did. I love the features on it like the wrinkle free drying. It turns on a little bit after the load is done so that the clothes don't wrinkle.

With replaceing a 15 year old amana model with this latest model, I feel this was a good choice. It did not disapoint. With just two people in our house,this is just the right size. Better than the old model it features an inside light and lager door with easier access. Dials are not complex to use and offer the only cycles we need. This a very good machine and I am glad I stayed with the amana brand.

I've had a month to try it out. When I choose the high heat setting it gets the drying done quickly and senses when the job is done. I did find that in the case of a load of blankets and sheets I might have been better off drying the blankets and sheets se[arately.

The only thing that has disappointed me so far is how low it sits on the ground, really have to bend down to get items in and out. Wish the lint tray was still in the drum area. Drys great.

Bought this dryer about 6 weeks ago. It was what we could afford to get. I feel like it was a wise choice. It's simple & effective. has a large capacity. Dries the clothes very fast. The clothes come out softer than they used to with my old dryer. the only negative I can see is the clothes seem to be a bit more wrinkled than before, & it is not as effective at throwing in an outfit to get wrinkles out quickly before wearing. They come out more wrinkled. But I am happy with this appliance.

The door handle is designed to be used by only right-handed people. As a left-handed person, I have to accommodate to this. it's impossible to grip the handle with my left hand. Clearly it was designed by a right-handed person without insight.

I am extremely happy with my new dryer! It was a great price and quality product, I would recommend to anyone looking for a good quality gas dryer. Its just my husband and myself now and I didn't want anything too fancy with all the bells and whistles just a good reliable product and THIS IS IT! It even has a light which my old one did not and enough setting choices to suit our needs, its energy efficient, couldn't ask for more! I am a very satisfied customer!
